About
San Diego State University (SDSU) Mock Trial was founded in 2015 with the goal of supporting students as they pursue a career in law. Today, SDSU Mock Trial has built upon its initial mission and has become a program centered on preparing students for their careers through fostering and supporting the personal, professional, and academic goals of students.
Mission
At San Diego State University Mock Trial, we strive to provide interdisciplinary learning opportunities to students through a co-curricular model while breaking down the exclusionary and financial barriers to the legal profession by expanding student outreach and access to resources.
Vision
At San Diego State University Mock Trial, we aim to build a pre-law community where students feel seen, heard, and supported as they work towards their aspirations. We look to become a high-impact, co-curricular program focused on equipping students with the hands-on experience, knowledge, and resources necessary to succeed in the professional world.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
San Diego State University is a Hispanic-Serving and Asian American Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institution residing on Kumeyaay land and at SDSU Mock Trial, we commit to supporting the diverse communities at SDSU. We pledge to serve as an advocate for future litigators and the removal of financial barriers to a historically exclusionary industry.
