Pre-Law Advising
At SDSU "pre-law" is not a major or minor. Pre-law refers to anyone who is considering going to law school after they complete their undergraduate degree. The department of Political Science offers pre-law advising to students thinking about attending law school after they finish their undergraduate degree.
In addition to advising, SDSU also offers a certificate in public law. For more information, please see our certificate page.

SDSU Mock Trial
San Diego State University (SDSU) Mock Trial aims to build a pre-law community at SDSU where students feel seen, heard, and supported as they work towards their aspirations. Additionally, SDSU Mock Trial looks to become a high-impact, co-curricular program focused on equipping students with the hands-on experience, knowledge, and resources necessary to succeed in the professional world.
